Love INC is a non-profit clearinghouse that helps people in need by working with agencies and volunteers from local churches. The West County chapter is one of over 130 chapters nationwide. Our Mission: Serving the Church, Facilitating the resources, To minister the Love of Christ to those in need in West Erie County. Our service area includes Fairview, Girard, Lake City, Springfield, Albion, and Cranesville.
About
The Clearinghouse receives requests for help, screens the requests, verifies the need, and then refers the request to a local church ministry, church volunteer, or community agency. After people are helped the Clearinghouse follows up to ensure the need was met and to offer continued spiritual support. We assist churches in going beyond benevolence to building life-changing relationships. We help churches avoid creating dependency in people they assist by solving root causes of problems this lessens the strain on any one church by building a network of churches to work together to meet needs. We try to connect unchurched people to churches as they are loved and served by Christians who care.
